Other Starting Points
Here is a list of the some of the largest and most frequently updated
statistics homepages of which we are aware.
There are clearly more that could be included.
Suggestions?
- StatLib is a wonderful source
of information for finding datasets, information on software,
pointers to other homepages, journals, etcetera.
-
The CHANCE Database contains a large number of datasets,
references to popular articles which make interesting examples
for the classroom,
and other materials designed to aid teachers of statistics.
-
The Journal of Statistics Education is an electronic refereed journal
that contains discussions pertaining to statistics education,
examples for the statistics classroom, datasets with descriptions
of useful pedogogical features,
and other useful information.
