Cross-classified data
is a means of representing two or more
categorical variables.
Many experiments in medicine result in data with this form.
We will not discuss sophisticated methods of analysis,
but will discuss using the tables as a means to summarize data.
Probability
is a branch of mathematics that deals with quanitifying uncertainty.
We will cover only the barest minimum of this difficult subject.
